There was this really strange fog over Cannon Beach most of the day - this was taken about 1 pm. That's the way it really looked, it's not just a bad picture ;)

Here are a couple shots from the tidal pool area around the Haystack area at the south end of
Cannon Beach. At low tide you can wander about in them and actually walk out to Haystack rock itself.
