and this is just outside town.
Shots from a bayou/swamp tour - the gator is about an 8 footer.
These are from the plantation tour - this one is called "Oak Alley". All the trees that line the entrance are 300 year old live oaks. Pretty modest as plantation houses went at only 3500 sqaure feet for the main house, but it's one of the few in the area not burned down by the Union army.
